3. DATA & PROCESS MODELING

Business Intelligence tools are a great medium for delivering clear and insightful business information. The majority of these tools use dimensional entities for expressing different business facets. The proper modeling of data and processes are key elements for ensuring a project will be easily integrated, and will be embraced by its business users. Using the gathered business requirements, key source data and business processes are identified and analyzed. This analysis entails the documentation of transformation requirements as well as the up-front identification of missing or incomplete data elements.
